NEW~Espresso bar-Glow (Campos coffee beans) 布里斯本新義式濃縮咖啡吧 GLOW

This fresh new expresso bar probably only has been a week old, 'Glow' the name.  Took me by surprise, when I saw people walking down Grey street with the green 'CampoS' cup--one of my favourites.

There are only that many places to have a caffeine fix around south bank, even fewer if you want something more than a cup of browned water.

"Garage", one closer to Piaf Bistro.  A balanced blend of beans.  3 dollars for a regular drink, no royalty rewards, but with a great level of consistency in making the coffee.  Talking about 1 ordinary cup against.....probably more than 50 nicely made one.

"My Sweetopia", the cup cake shop.  Nice coffee blend for some.  3 dollars a regular drink, but 10th coffee on the house and a free cup cake after another 9.  The chances of getting a not-so-greatly-made cup is slightly higher than Garage.  Well, 98% is an outstanding bench mark to beat.

"Di Bella", not too far away, 199 Grey Street.  The pleasure is probably not getting a cup, it's about having the choice of the different blend of beans.

The green CampoS take away cup
"Stone", part of Mantra hotel, standard blend.  Receive a free drink after 9, but, the regular price is $2.8 dollars, almost a 7% off against the others.  Bring your own cup welcomed.  A less chances to have a cup brilliantly made since they have more staffs rotating, but rarely a very bad one.

Back to the first experiment from 'Glow'.  Not very impressed since I have had a much better made cup from the same blend somewhere else.  Maybe too much expectations come with the name of the beans.  However, 3 dollars a regular in such a competitive environment, an ordinary cup is probably not going to be enough.
